PrivacyDraft
1. Who this notice covers
This notice describes information practices for the mobile application SsakEraser (display name “싹지우개”) as disclosed in the App’s bundled Legal documents. The operator’s legal entity name and postal address are not stated in those source documents and are therefore omitted here rather than invented.
Questions about this notice: gomsak@brushwipe.studio.
2. Source of the product disclosures
The App’s in-app privacy page states, in Korean:
사진과 편집 기록은 기기 Application Support에 저장됩니다. AI 허용 시에만 DeepSeek로 사진 크롭, 마스크, 프롬프트가 전송됩니다.
English rendering of that disclosure (for readers of this English page): photos and editing records are stored in the device Application Support location; only when AI is allowed are photo crop, mask, and prompt sent to DeepSeek.
A related in-app provider page states that the summary concerns DeepSeek’s policy and that, when AI is allowed, transmitted data follows the provider’s policy after session processing. Exact Korean source: “AI 제공자 DeepSeek의 정책 요약입니다. 허용 시 전송 데이터는 세션 처리 후 제공자 정책을 따릅니다.”
3. Information described by the App disclosures
3.1 On-device storage
- Photos and editing records — disclosed as stored in the device Application Support area.
We do not assert additional on-device categories (accounts, analytics identifiers, etc.) because the App Legal text does not list them.
3.2 Transmission when AI is allowed
- Photo crop, mask, and prompt — disclosed as sent to DeepSeek only when AI is allowed.
This notice does not claim verification of the permission UI, toggle timing, encryption, retry behavior, or whether full images beyond crop/mask are sent. Those items remain outside the in-app Legal wording.
3.3 Permissions referenced in project configuration (purpose strings only)
Build configuration declares usage descriptions for Camera, Microphone, Photo Library Add, and Speech Recognition (Korean purpose strings). Those strings describe intended access purposes; they are not proof that each permission is invoked or that data leaves the device beyond the Legal disclosure above.
4. DeepSeek as named AI provider
The App Legal text names DeepSeek as the AI provider for the disclosed crop/mask/prompt transmission when AI is allowed.
DeepSeek publishes a privacy policy at:
- English: https://cdn.deepseek.com/policies/en-US/deepseek-privacy-policy.html
- Chinese: https://cdn.deepseek.com/policies/zh-CN/deepseek-privacy-policy.html
According to that published policy (Last Update: Feb 10, 2026), the Services are provided and controlled by Hangzhou DeepSeek Artificial Intelligence Co., Ltd., with registered address in China, and DeepSeek states that it directly collects, processes, and stores personal data in the People’s Republic of China. Contact listed in that policy includes privacy@deepseek.com.
The same DeepSeek policy states that processing rules for personal data collected from end users of downstream systems or applications developed by developers using DeepSeek open-platform services are not covered by that consumer/app privacy policy, and that the developer operating the application is the controller for those end-user processing activities. Whether this App’s integration is governed solely by that consumer policy, by open-platform terms, or by a combination has not been verified from App source code in this draft. Users should read DeepSeek’s current policy and any platform terms that apply to the integration.
5. What this notice does not claim
- No guarantee of “no tracking,” “no collection,” or empty PrivacyInfo meaning no data collection.
- No description of IAP, ATT, account systems, advertising SDKs, or analytics — none appear in the App Legal disclosures used here.
- No invented retention periods, subprocessors beyond DeepSeek as named, or deletion/export self-service flows inside the App.
- No claim of full GDPR, PIPA, or other regulatory certification.
6. Your choices and contact
Device-level controls (for example, iOS Settings permission toggles for camera, microphone, photos, and speech recognition) may limit access the OS grants to the App. The in-app Legal support page does not document a specific in-app data-export or wipe control beyond the placeholder contact line.

For DeepSeek’s own processing, see their published policy and contact channels linked above.
7. Changes
If the App’s in-app Legal disclosures change, this notice should be updated to match. The effective date above applies to this draft revision.
